Staff & Leadership

Pastor Jay is a native of Erie, though he has spent the past 30 years living throughout the Northeastern U.S.  He is a 2009 graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia with a major in Religion (with distinction), a minor in Ancient Mediterranean Studies, and a certificate from the Honors Program.  Pastor Jay is also a 2014 graduate of The Luheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (now ULS) with a concentration in Metropolitan and Urban Ministry.  He previously served congregations in Ohio and Philadelphia.

Pastor Jay lives in Millcreek with his husband, Chaz; the cat, Jake; and their spoiled puppy princess, Vesper.  In his spare time you can find Pastor Jay watching Doctor Who (or its spinoffs), at the theatre or Philharmonic, gardening, or enjoying a cocktail and conversation with friends.
